Housing PPP projects

Please find below the PPP projects for government housing. The Rijksgebouwendienst (Government Buildings Agency) is responsible for the tendering process for these projects.

Forthcoming invitations to tender

The projects mentioned below are in a preparatory stage. The tendering process has not started yet for these projects. But we know that these projects will be brought to the market through PPP.

• Dutch Centre for Biodiversity
  New housing will be realised for the Dutch Centre for Biodiversity on the site of Naturalis Leiden.
• Renovation RIjnstraat 8
  In the beginning of 2009 is was decided that the current Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment at Rijnstraat 8 in The Hague will be renovated. 

• Court of Justice Breda  
  The new housing for the Court of Justice Breda will be located near the main train station of Breda. The projcet concerns a 30-year DBFM-contract. 
• RIVM Utrecht  
  The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment will be moving to the Utrecht Science Park at the University site in Utrecht. For the housing a new building will be realised. The DBFMO-contract will be for 25 years.  

Current invitations to tender

These projects have been officially announced and are in the tendering stage at present.

• New building for the Supreme Court of the Netherlands 
  At the Korte Voorhout in The Hague a new building will be realised for the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. It concerns a 30-year DBFMO contract. 
• New building for Soesterberg military museum
  At the north end of the former airbase Soesterberg, a new museum of the Ministry of Defence will be housed within a few years' time. This concerns a 25-year DBFMO contract.
• New building for Penal institution Zaanstad
  At location Hoogtij, a new building for the penal institution Zaanstad will be realised. It concerns a 25-year DBFMO contract.

Completed tendering procedures 

The tendering stage has been completed for these projects. The projects have been awarded and are in the implementation stage at present.

• There are currently no projects in the implementation stage.

Completed projects

The implementation stage has been completed for these projects. The buildings have been completed and are in the operational stage for the duration of the contract.

• Renovation of Ministry of Finance in The Hague
  The core department of the Ministry of Finance has been renovated. This is the first PPP project for government housing
• New building for Doetinchem Tax and Customs Administration
  A 7,500 m2 new development for the Tax and Customs Administration in Doetinchem, near the railway station. This concerns a 15-year DBFMO contract. 
• New building for Information Management Group and Groningen Tax and Customs Administration
  A new shared office building for the Information Management Group and the Tax and Customs Administration at the Kempkensberg in Groningen.
